Peter Bingham is an 11 year veteran of the California State Police. He is a former Legislative Lobbyist representing police officers on law enforcement issues. His wife, Kirstie, is an emergency room registered nurse and teaches Trauma Nursing. They recently moved to Minnesota from California with their three children to find a better lifestyle for their family.

The Bingham's chose deer farming because it was a newly developed industry and had a long growth potential. Hearing about deer farming in New Zealand (with 5,000 deer farmers and over 1.2 million deer under fence) inspired the Bingham's to choose deer farming as an alternative farming endeavor. They felt they could start deer farming and at the same time the Old World Venison Company.

The Bingham's use a sustainable, holistic style of farm management and purchase farm-raised venison from selected producers. (Please inquire.) We provide year around Red Deer and Red Elk cross venison. Our promise to you is our Red Deer males and Red Elk males are slaughtered less than 36 months of age in order to maintain quality tenderness and taste. We do not use growth hormones or chemicals.
